The Netropolitan Social Network Costs $9,000 to Join

Similar to a real country club, the Netropolitan social network offers it members exclusivity, privacy and the chance to interact with other like-minded individuals.

Referred to as Facebook for the rich, the Netropolitan social network will cost $9,000 to join and have a $3,000 annual membership fee. Netropolitan functions, in many ways, like a traditional social network: users can form groups, update their own posts and view the statuses of other members. However, unlike traditional social networks, Netropilitan features no ads, it's not indexed by search engines and users must be at least 21 years old and provide their real names.

The founder of the Netropolitan social network, James Touchi-Peters, believes that there is a need for a site a like this and that Netropolitan fills such a need.
