'Mossify' Sells Moss-Based Products and Moss-Themed Apparel

'Mossify' is a Toronto-based startup founded by Lucas Picciolo, the son of a construction worker. Picciolo found through observing his dad's work that construction sites waste a lot of products, most notably, wood. Picciolo got the idea to start Mossify when he began designing old logs with moss and engravings, which his family and friends took a liking to.

Now, Mossify is an in-person and online retail location that sells raw moss, moss-based plant poles, coir-based plant poles, moss-themed apparel, and other houseplant-enhancing products. Mossify sources its materials from sustainable sources and strives to use the least amount of plastics possible in order to preserve the environment. Lucas Picciolo has stated that he wants his kids and grandkids to be able to experience the same beautiful world that he does.
