Recycled Product Mini Cars

The Martine Camillieri Truck Cans Series Uses Discarded Materials

Artist Martine Camillieri has come up with a child-inspired series titled Truck Cans. Camillieri uses recycled bottles and plastics to create her miniature truck pieces, and once she's created them, she puts them in situations where they might be found and photographs them.

She recycles old milk cartons, juice jugs, laundry bottles and fashions them into moveable little toy cars. She adds artwork or labels to the sides to distinguish what types of cars they are. Some of the more notable ones include the graffiti truck, the pizza van placed outside a carnival, the wedding car outside a chapel and the log truck in the woods.

This is a simple concept but still very amusing, and even a possible idea to do with kids.
