Plantable Gourmet Packaging

Live Food Bar Packaging by Amelia Roblin Grows Garden Herbs

The Live Food Bar Packaging project re-imagines the way the Canadian raw gourmet restaurant packages its food. Known for its healthy options, the design furthers this perception by introducing a solid eco-friendly aspect into its already strong business model. Not only is it made out of recyclable paper sourced from Botanical Paperworks of Manitoba, it is embedded with seeds that encourage people to continue their healthy eating habits at home.

Designed by Amelia Roblin, a graphic design student at Humber College based in Toronto, Canada, the Live Food Bar Packaging project allows people to grow parsley, oregano and basil. It reads, "Eat me, pocket me, plant me," to drive home the fact that it continues to give even after the meal is over and done with.
