Cutely Tentacled Lighting

Adam Wallacavage's Kurami Chandelier Features a Freaky Hello Kitty Motif

There are some crazy Hello Kitty creations out there, but I am more than sure that the Kurami Chandelier takes the cake. This hanging light fixture features porcelain white octopus tentacles that cup a mini Hello Kitty head at each end.

Created by Adam Wallacavage, who is known for his tentacled chandeliers, the Kurami Chandelier was designed for themed art show hosted by Sanrio, the company that owns Hello Kitty. Unfortunately, there isn't much information about the piece itself, other than the fact that it is a mixed media art piece that stretches 42 by 36 inches in diameter.

Yet the image of the Kurami Chandelier speaks volumes. Whimsically creepy, it is definitely a unique light fixture that will surely steal any show.
