Suctioning Solar Lights

The Jellyfish Lighting by Ryan Jongwoo Choi is Simple and Eco-Friendly

The Jellyfish Lighting is a suctioning light fixture that soaks up the sun's rays in order to shine. Although it doesn't look like a jellyfish at first, not like the Mush Lamp or Roxy Russels life-like creations, the Jellyfish Lighting is subtly modeled after the domed head of the sea creature.

Designed by Ryan Jongwoo Choi, the Jellyfish Lighting is made out of silicone, which gives it a striking translucent aesthetic. The material also allows it to stick easily to surfaces, especially when paired with the hollowed inside, which acts as a vacuum when pushed against a window or wall. The inner lining is outfitted with solar panels to harness the sun's energy. At night, the Jellyfish Lighting can be placed anywhere.
