Chemical-Free Barbecue Boxes

The Cleverly Designed Grillcube Makes Charcoal Grilling Green

With the summer season approaching, everyone's got barbecue on the mind. GrillSeason’s new eco-friendly product Grillcube enables users to grill easily without using environmentally hostile and flavor-spoiling chemicals for starting the charcoal.

In Grillcube, charcoal is packed in a recycled cardboard box with an air flue and cardboard wick in the middle. It just takes one match to light the wick and the heat in the flue lights the charcoal, and in about 10 minutes, the charcoal is ready to be grilled on.

It’s a great example of how going green doesn’t have to mean giving up on convenience and customer experience, but on the contrary, getting more of it. Grillcube will be on sale soon in Estonia and its nearby countries, but the startup is expanding rapidly. It has already won its first award -- Grillcube came second in Estonian start-up competition Ajujaht (Brainhunt).
