'greenlist' Enables Eco-Friendly, Cost-Effective P2P Returns

'greenlist' is a marketplace solution and mobile application that facilitates peer-to-peer returns networks. The founder and CEO of greenlist, Jess Owens, quit her previous consulting job after 20yrs of working experience in various fields in marketing, business development, and consulting, after trying to buy an item that was sold out on a webstore, knowing that the item would be returned by a customer, and recognizing the inefficiency of shipping the return back to the store, then to Owens.

greenlist is designed to solve this exact inefficiency. The application facilitates returns such that they ship directly to a consumer looking to save money on a used version, or even an unopened version, previously shipped to a consumer. Rather than deciding to purchase a new item, customers can opt to sign up for a waitlist to purchase a consumer return. Once a match is made, the return label will be generated and paid for by the company, and the return shipping will ship directly to the purchasing consumer. This saves money for the company and consumer, while also having a positive environmental impact.
