The Grace Robinson Collection is Made Entirely from Recycled Tea Bags

The Tea Bag clothing collection from Grace Robinson is nothing short of peculiar, but designing a collection of this nature requires extraordinary vision, talent and creativity. For over ten years, Robinson has been collecting old tea bags and sewing them together to create fashionable dresses, shoes and accessories. And I don't use the word fashionable lightly, but Robinson's creations may just be my cup of tea! Colorful, wildly unique and artistic, the Grace Robinson tea collection will surely "leaf" you breathless!

Oddity Central describes the process as quite simple: "She drinks tea every day, saves the tea bags and lets them dry naturally with the tea leaves inside. Once they’ve dried, the designer empties them and sews them into whatever clothing item she likes. The color of this unusual fabric varies depending on how long she lets the tea brew."

The odd designer garnered a lot of attention when she auditioned for Britain's Got Talent wearing one of her designs. To date, she has made dresses, several types of shoes, handbags and even hats! These designs are tea-ming with creativity and will certainly tea-ch you a thing or two about sustainability!
