Rebecca Wilson's Finest Paperware Collection Combats Wasteful Cosumerism

In a world enamored with instant gratification and easily disposable items, the Finest Paperware collection challenges this way of living by encouraging viewers to look at one of the most easily disposable products ever made: paper plates and cups. Instead of being classically bland, the Finest Paperware collection has been made to resemble fine china.

Created by Scottish ceramicist Rebecca Wilson, the Finest Paperware collection forces you out of a wasteful consumerism mindset. Made out of two different materials, one set was hand-built using handmade paper and the other using specially formulated porcelain paperclay slip. Each are available in two different styles; ‘Jasperware’ emulates Wedgewood’s iconic design of dyed paper and embossed relief details and the Dutch classic ‘Blue Delft’ features hand-drawn decals.
