Fifth Season Launches New Program for Vertically Grown Gardens

Fifth Season, a leading vertical farming company that "combines vertical farming with proprietary robotics and artificial intelligence to disrupt the country’s produce market and deliver an entirely new category of hyper-local fresh food," recently debuted a new direct-to-consumer e-commerce platform for consumers to vertically grow gardens.

In addition, Fifth Season also announced the opening of a flagship store indoor vertical farm—a solar-powered farm with twice the efficiency of traditional vertical farms. The new concept will enable the brand to produce 500,000 pounds of produce in its first year of operation. To assist with the new expansions, the brand partnered with NHL 'Hall of Famer' and co-owner of the Pittsburgh Penguins Mario Lemieux
