The Nautilus Eco-Resort Embraces Sustainable Architectural Designs

Vincent Callebaut Architectures, an architectural firm based in France, has carved out a reputation for itself as one of the world leaders in sustainable architecture, and few of its creations exemplify this philosophy quite like the Nautilus, one of the most technologically advanced eco-resorts ever envisioned.

Set to be built in the Philippines, the Nautilus project would be equipped with rotating buildings that would follow the sun in order to make optimum use of solar energy. Elsewhere, the resort would be fitted with underwater turbines, with rooftop greenery envisioned to offer boosted insulation. Solar panels and greywater recycling facilities would also be available.

As far as eco-resorts go, the Nautilus is poised to set an example thanks to the fact that it embraces the whole gamut of modern sustainable technologies, as well as forward-looking architectural concepts, using the best of design and science to offer an environmentally friendly resort experience.
