A group of Tokyo engineers have created a massive UFO for the Aqua Metropolis Festival.
The eco-friendly UFO is designed to continuously purify water through solar-powered filtration systems. The device stands at 5 feet tall and stretches 16 feet in diameter. The eco-friendly UFO pumps an large amount of oxygen into the water to improve the quality. When the solar panels become too hot, water is shot out the top (like a whale) in order to cool down the machine. The eco-friendly UFO can purify 2,400 gallons of water every day.
It’s big, creative and making a huge difference toward a more green (or blue, for water’s sake) planet.
