Anthropologie Customers Can Turn In Worn Denim to be Repurposed

Retail giant Anthropologie has announced an expanded partnership with the Blue Jeans Go Green program run by Cotton Incorporated in order to make it possible for Anthropologie's legions of loyal customers to go about participating in a denim recycling program by contributing their pre-worn denim pieces to any retail location in the U.S.

With more than 200 eligible locations in the country, Anthropologie is making it easier than ever for customers to bring in their denim to partake in this unique denim recycling program, which will see the material repurposed into insulating material that will be leveraged by Cotton Incorporated for various aspects of its own sustainability portfolio.

Elizabeth Preis, global chief marketing officer over at Anthropologie Group, noted that the company is committed to continuing to be aware of sustainability factors pertinent to its business. "We are thrilled to be growing our participation with Cotton's Blue Jeans Go Green program and to bring our incredibly loyal community along to join in our sustainability efforts," said Preis. "I am confident that through this relationship, we will grow Anthropologie's denim circularity initiative, support in waste-reduction, and reduce our overall environmental impact."
