Bambi and Spider's Webs Prompt Japanese Chair Designs

The steel-framed, nylon fiber finish Bambi chair is one of two recent designs from Japanese designers Jun Hashimito and Tatsuo Yamamoto.

Tatsuo Yamamoto has designed the seat of the Bambi chair to look like it has fawn spots, and antler like finials are included in some of the chair backs.

The second design by Jun Hashimito is inspired by spider webs. The stainless steel wire is lightweight and structurally strong. The intricate design is welded in approximately 2000 places.
