4 Copas, named 2006 Tequila of the Year, is the world's first certified organic tequila. In addition to producing the tequila chemical and pesticide free, the company takes great pains to treat its Mexican Agaveros (harvesters) in a responsible manner (i.e. fair wages.) The company also plans to launch a 100% certified organic blue agave nectar in May. Agave nectar is a popular and natural alternative to sugar.
