The 100 Mile House by JPP Architekci and Luk Studio is Eco-Friendly

The 100 Mile House by JPP Architekci and Luk Studio will be built just outside of Vancouver for a four-person family. These Polish companies have joined forces to design a magnificent home that is entirely eco-friendly. The idea of the home's design is to create a green home with open space to allow the owner to best use the plot of land. To accomplish this the garage will be built underground, and there will be green roofs and a garden ramp leading up to the house.

The most notable eco-friendly features of the house include "prefabricated structural SIP panels, LED lighting, a tank for rainwater, drainwater heat recovery system, ventilation system with heat recovery, photovoltaic panels and heat pumps." The exterior of the home is made from a combination of concrete and timber. This environmental friendly home shows an ideal design for a sustainable future.
