MTN DEW is launching a full episode of Paint with Bob to share how people can recreate a landscape painting with a bottle of soda at its center. The campaign revives "Bob Ross" using CGI and an actor who approximates his features and fans will experience the same kind of soothing that the TV painter shared with every step of his process.
While painting the bottle of MTN DEW, the painter references "happy little droplets" and finds a solution for quenching his thirst by grabbing the realistic bottle straight out of the canvas and taking a sip.
One of the main reasons Ross has had such an impact on pop culture, up to this day, is the rise of ASMR. The soft-spoken ad and full episode of Paint with Bob promise the opposite experience of most exciting, high-energy soda ads.
