Debuting at CES 2019, the laptop will be the first portable Windows PC to break the screen barrier between the VR content and the user. This essentially creates a multi-dimensional environment that makes computer images seem like they are leaping out from the screen. Featuring patented 3D screen technology and lightweight glasses, the Zscape laptop hopes to foster creativity, collaboration, and education through the use of VR and AR content. The use of VR content will help children think more flexibly, while the immersive environments pull kids in more and ensures the lessons are interesting and engaging. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.4/10 - Popularity: 74% | Activity: 49% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Educational VR Laptops:** Zspace's VR laptop focuses on helping kids interact with AR and VR content to foster creativity, collaboration, and education. - **Multi-dimensional Computing:** Zspace's laptop breaks the screen barrier between VR content and the user, creating a multi-dimensional environment. - **Immersive Learning Environments:** Zspace's use of VR and AR content ensures that lessons are interesting and engaging. ### Who This Affects Most - **Education Technology:** The Zspace laptop offers disruptive innovation opportunities in the education technology industry. - **Virtual and Augmented Reality:** Zspace's focus on VR and AR content opens up disruptive innovation opportunities in the virtual and augmented reality industry. - **Computer Hardware and Technology:** Zspace's patented 3D screen technology and lightweight glasses offer disruptive innovation opportunities in the computer hardware and technology industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Dedicated Spatial Computing Laptops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spacetop-g1.md) - [Augmented Reality Projection Laptops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spacetop.md) - [3D-Emulating Laptop Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aspire-3d-15-spatiallabs.md) - [Creative Professional 3D Laptops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/asus-proart-studiobook-16-3d-oled.md) - [Virtual Reality Education Products](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meta-quest-education.md) - [Multi-Sensory Education Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vr-education-device.md) - [Glasses-Free 3D Laptops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/3d-laptop.md) - [Tech-Based Educational Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meta-7.md) - [Child-Targeted Laptop Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/compal-studybook.md)
