Designer Nicky Zimmermann’s ‘[Cloud Stompers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cloud-reverie)’ collection was inspired by a photograph of her mother from the 1950s, as well as subcultures like Beatniks, Sharpies and [Teddy Girls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/boss-2). The gang influence brings a tough edge to the collection, but it is not overpowering and it still manages to strike a beautiful balance between hard and soft.
