The chair works by positioning the body into a [zero gravity state](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hover-dog-bed) that is achieved by elevating the legs and allowing the sitter to virtually float on top of the [soft yet supportive seat](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/transparent-bean-bag). The positioning enhances blood flow, increases lung capacity and could even help to alleviate tension that's stored in the muscles to put the body into a total state of tranquility. The Zero Gravity Zen Bean Bag is ideal for relaxing, but is also great as a [seat for playing video games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tgif-t0), meditating, watching TV and beyond. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.4/10 - Popularity: 92% | Activity: 91% | Freshness: 9% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Zero Gravity Seating:** Explore innovative seating solutions that offer a zero gravity experience for ultimate relaxation and wellness benefits. - **Elevated Leg Positioning:** Discover products that elevate the legs to improve blood flow and reduce muscle tension for enhanced comfort and relaxation. - **Multifunctional Seating:** Find seating options that cater to different activities such as gaming, meditation, and entertainment for a versatile user experience. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture:** The furniture industry can benefit from creating innovative seating designs that incorporate zero gravity positioning for improved comfort and wellness. - **Gaming:** The gaming industry has an opportunity to integrate zero gravity seating solutions into gaming chairs, enhancing the overall gaming experience and comfort. - **Wellness:** The wellness industry can explore the integration of elevated leg positioning in seating options to offer relaxation and therapeutic benefits for customers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Multi-Position Beanbag Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/revolve-chair.md) - [Zero-Gravity Reclining Workstations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zgw0b.md) - [Powered Ergonomic Recliner Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zero-gravity-recliner.md) - [Ergonomic Inflatable Lounge Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/z-lounger.md) - [Circular Modernist Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zerogravity-chair.md) - [Relaxed Reclining Workstations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zero-gravity-ergonomic-workstation.md) - [Ergonomic Inflated Reclined Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/johannes-faurebrac.md) - [Bohemian Bean Bag Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sage-x-clare-camarillo-bean-bag.md) - [Sleek Portable Air Recliners](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zlounger.md)
