The final product looks like a spaceship from certain angles, and is planning to host the world cup in 2018. Features of the stadium will include a roof that can retract, enabling spectators to enjoy games on a sunny day, as well as a field that can be removed. Eight masts are what hold up the massive roof, which can all be seen from quite a ways away. The interchangeable field will allow for other events to take place within the stadium, such as cultural fairs and other sporting gatherings throughout the year in St. Petersburg.
