The [Zen](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zenbrew-coffee-maker) thermostat is a smart thermostat that is designed to be incredibly easy to use. The device cuts back on the features found in other smart thermostats that track users' habits and adapt accordingly. The Zen thermostat instead follows a more traditional model, allowing users to control temperatures manually and via a schedule.

The Zen thermostat is connected to the Internet, making it possible for users to control the temperature via their smartphone.

The developers of the Zen thermostat have taken to [Indiegogo](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/velia) to attempt to rause $50,000 to bring the device ro market. A pledge of $99 will secure you a unit if it becomes a reality. The final retail price is set to be fixed at $199.
