To me, the brilliantly designed building looks like a huge stack of paper just dropped neatly on the ground. The Zaha Hadid New Dance & Music Centre will be home to the [Royal Conservatory](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/international-photography-exhibition), the Netherlands Dance Theatre and the [Residential Orchestra](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/peninsula-dubai). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.0/10 - Popularity: 56% | Activity: 55% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Sustainable Architecture:** Incorporate environmentally-friendly materials and energy-efficient designs in architectural projects. - **Multidisciplinary Centers:** Combine different artistic disciplines in one space to promote collaboration and creativity. - **Innovative Building Structures:** Create visually striking and unique architectural designs that challenge traditional notions of form and function. ### Who This Affects Most - **Architecture:** Explore new architectural styles and materials to create groundbreaking designs. - **Performing Arts:** Integrate innovative technology and design elements into performing arts spaces to enhance audience experience. - **Sustainable Development:** Apply sustainable practices and materials in construction projects to reduce environmental impact. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Ribbon-Like Dynamic Structures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/capital-international-exhibition.md) - [Paper-Inspired Artful Museums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/museum-for-papirkunst.md) - [Glass Facade Premium Skyscrapers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/henderson-office.md) - [Sculptural Photocoltaic Theater Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/opera-and-ballet-theatre-of-kosovo.md) - [Modular Tent Classroom Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zaha-hadid-architects-2.md) - [Paper-Like Art Museum Roofs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/museum-for-paper-art.md) - [Optimal Energy Research Centers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alisher-navoi.md) - [Emirati-Inspired Towers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/symphony-tower.md) - [Water Flow-Inspired Art Buildings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nanhai-arts-center.md)
