Creative director Cecilia Bonstrom came up with a collection inspired by the wild, wild west for the Zadig and Voltaire Spring 2014 show.

The models walked the runway in a series of leather cowboy belts, [embellished boots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/melissa-x-maldito), hats and lots and lots of fringe. Fringe appeared on the runway on bags, leather jackets, dresses and shawls. Bonstrom dressed up [leather skirts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rudsak-spring-collection) with intricate lace caplets shawls with trains for dramatic effect.

The collection was mostly monochromatic, white-and-black affair, disrupted by sporadic pops of red or gold. Overall, the Zadig and Voltaire Spring ready to wear collection hearkens back to the [wild ways of the old west](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frye-x-aurate) without being too overbearing and can definitely be enjoyed by country girls and city girls equally.
