# Superhero Homes Hohyun Park & Hyunjoo Kim's Z House is Perfect for Crime-Fighters By Christina Butty | Published 2009-08-24 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/z-house-by-hohyun-park-and-hyunjoo-kim References: [dezeen](http://www.dezeen.com/2009/08/24/z-house-by-hohyun-park-and-hyunjoo-kim/#more-31931) & [hohyunpark.blogspot](http://hohyunpark.blogspot.com/) This abode is called the Z House by architects Hohyun Park and Hyunjoo Kim and looks like it was built for a superhero. Is it me, or is it shaped like a lightning bolt? Fierce. Located in Gwangju Si near Seoul, this Z Shaped House is perched on top of a steep hill, great for keeping an eye on enemies. It's also situated in a very private location, surrounded by woods to the west with views surrounding the mountains, therefore perfect for conducting private super hero affairs without meddlesome neighbors. I wonder who lives here? Could it be Zorro? ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.8/10 - Popularity: 52% | Activity: 25% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Z Shaped Houses:** The trend of designing houses in distinctive Z shapes presents opportunities for architects and builders to create unique and visually striking homes. - **Private and Secluded Locations:** The trend of seeking out private and secluded locations for homes offers opportunities for real estate developers to cater to customers who value privacy and exclusivity. - **Superhero-themed Architecture:** The trend of designing buildings inspired by superheroes presents opportunities for architects and designers to create immersive and iconic structures that captivate audiences. ### Who This Affects Most - **Architecture and Construction:** The architecture and construction industry can explore innovative designs and techniques to meet the demand for Z shaped houses and superhero-themed structures. - **Real Estate:** The real estate industry can identify and develop private and secluded locations to cater to the growing market of homebuyers seeking privacy. - **Entertainment and Tourism:** The entertainment and tourism industry can capitalize on superhero-themed architecture by incorporating these iconic structures into theme parks, museums, and other attractions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Dynamic Y-Shaped Glazed Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-y-house.md) - [Reconfigured Spacious Brooklyn Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/z-house.md) - [Sustainable Dynamic Hilltop Buildings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ro54.md) - [Lightning Bolt-Inspired Interior Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/relmpago-house.md) - [Geometric Structural Forest Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/c-house.md) - [Geometric Cave-Like Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cavelike-homes.md) - [Hidden Resort Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stealth-1.md) - [Nature-Inspired Minimal Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zen-house-1.md) - [Dramatic Clifftop Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-yuri.md)
