Hong Kong-based school My ArchiSchool has just announced the new Youth ArchiDesign Competition which calls in children to use [artificial intelligent tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-designs) to design a school village. This is for the annual competition and this year, the task asks children between the ages of six to 17 to create a school village that would facilitate learning and social environments. It must have two schools, at least one garden with sustainable farming, and a canteen.

My ArchiSchool shared with Dezeen, "Why [generative AI for students](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-assist)? Students can enjoy greater support for establishing their ideas and options through cloud-based computation. For education purposes, generative AI removes the barriers between students and visualisation and production. It will help [young designers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/student-illustration-contest) to produce their artworks with affordable resources and present their ideas and artworks to a wider public."
