# Immersive Doodle Installations Yosuke Goda Lets Audiences Dive into His Artwork By Jason Soy | Published 2011-06-18 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yosuke-goda References: [sweet-station](http://sweet-station.com/blog/2011/06/yosuke-goda/) & [k2.dion.ne.jp](http://www.k2.dion.ne.jp/~pugmannn/) Looking at this installation by Yosuke Goda, I'm reminded of the doodles I use to do in my school notebooks when I should have been paying attention. Only I wasn't nearly as talented as Goda and the scale was never this ambitious. Yosuke Goda is a Japanese artist and, as you can see, his [sketchy doodle art style](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tissue-box-collection) is intricate and [surrealistic](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surreal-street-art-1). What's truly amazing about this particular installation, though, is that Goda invites viewers to walk right on top of his artwork in order to fully [immerse themselves in the experience](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/psychoacoustic-light-ensemble) of his art. He pretty much covers the entire floor with his masterpieces and manages to fill up most of a huge wall as well. This wall installation is inspiring me to grab a pencil and some paint to decorate my bedroom in a similarly trippy manner. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.3/10 - Popularity: 54% | Activity: 37% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Immersive Art Installations:** Artists are creating installations that allow viewers to step inside and fully immerse themselves in the artwork. - **Surrealistic Doodles:** Artists are embracing doodle-like styles and creating intricate and surrealistic artworks. - **Interactive Museum Exhibits:** Museums are incorporating more interactive and immersive exhibits to engage visitors and enhance overall experience. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art and Design:** Artists and designers can incorporate interactive elements in their installations to create a more engaging and memorable experience for viewers. - **Museum and Exhibition:** Museums and exhibitions can incorporate interactive and immersive elements to attract more visitors and enhance visitor experience. - **Hospitality and Tourism:** Hotels and resorts can incorporate interactive and immersive art installations to enhance guest experience and differentiate themselves from competitors. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Interactive Creativity Home Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/doodle-interactive-wall.md) - [Wonderous Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/your-psychoacoustic-light-ensemble.md) - [Monumental Air Installation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iwagumi-air-scape.md) - [Paper-Made Mosaic Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/real-life-architecture-exhibition.md) - [Immersive Public Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/immersive-public-art-installation.md) - [Community-Centric Sculptural Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/playful-sculptures.md) - [Intricate Site-Specific Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folded-time.md) - [Playful Pop Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/louis-vuitton-octopus.md) - [Realistic Sketch-Reflective Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drawing-series.md)
