In partnership with [Spirit Ranch Dog Training](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/expert-led-dog-training-app), the Be Love Studio in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is now leading 'Doga' classes where people can bring along their furry friends for bonding and therapeutic benefits. The Doga class is reported to inspire quiet and relaxation in the dogs, especially ones that have experienced trauma and abuse. Although cat owners might feel left out of these lessons, yoga for pets is catching on in other places. For instance, Yoga at Connie's recently ran a special class with a [cat shelter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/supper-club-for-cats) to promote interactivity, exercise and adoption. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.7/10 - Popularity: 43% | Activity: 61% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Health](https://www.trendhunter.com/health) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Canine Yoga (doga):** There is a growing trend in offering canine yoga classes for pet owners as a way to bond with their furry friends and promote therapeutic benefits for dogs. - **Yoga for Pets:** Yoga for pets is a rising trend for pet owners to engage in interactive, exercise and bonding activities with their fur babies. - **Special Yoga with Shelter Pets:** Yoga classes with shelter pets are becoming more popular, offering a way for people to engage with animals in need and promote adoption. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Pet Care:** The pet care industry can explore opportunities to offer canine yoga classes as a new service to pet owners looking for unique ways to bond with their dogs. - **Wellness:** Wellness businesses can tap into the yoga for pets trend by offering specialized classes for pet owners looking for activities to promote relaxation and bonding with their furry friends. - **Animal Shelters:** Animal shelters can incorporate yoga classes as a new way to promote interactivity, exercise and adoption of shelter pets while offering a unique and fun experience to attendees. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Dog Enrichment Camps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/summer-camp-for-dogs.md) - [Scientifically Informed Yoga Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/les-mills-yoga.md) - [Yoga-Themed Essential Oils](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/doterra-signature-yoga-collection.md) - [Dog-Focused Meal Toppers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/italcol.md) - [Overnight Canine Daycares](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/doggie-daycare.md) - [Transformational Yoga Activities](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/circusyoga.md) - [Petting Booth Pop-Ups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/petting-booth.md) - [Pet-and-Owner Salons](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/short-bark-and-sides.md) - [Lavender Field Yoga Classes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lavender-field-yoga.md)
