XRAI Glass is an innovative software product designed to enhance communication for individuals with hearing impairments. The glasses operate by converting audio into a visual format, displaying subtitles in real-time on the screen of augmented reality (AR) smart glasses. This technology allows users to ‘see’ conversations as they happen, facilitating better understanding and engagement in social interactions. The software boasts features such as fast captioning with cloud-enhanced transcription, translation capabilities for over 140 languages, and an AI assistant that can summarize conversations and answer questions. It also includes speaker identification and language detection, making it compatible with a variety of smart glasses and platforms.

XRAI offers different subscription plans to cater to users' economic needs. The ‘Essentials’ plan provides on-device transcription for free, while the ‘Premium’ and ‘Ultimate’ plans offer more advanced features at monthly costs of £19.99 and £49.99, respectively. These plans include cloud-enhanced transcription, translation for numerous languages, and additional features like spatial mode and UI customization. The glasses are available for purchase online for EE network customers at an upfront cost of £10 and then £35 per month for 11 months, or at EE stores nationwide for non-EE customers for £399.99.
