The unit maintains a compact design that includes a newly engineered pump to operate at lower speeds, which thus reduces the overall noise levels. The enlarged water inlet enables distilled water to be added without a funnel, while the waterproof screw cap prevents leaks. The XMG Oasis Mk2 is accented by a two-zone RGB lighting setup with lights in the fan and rear window sections to make the unit a focal point rather than something to hide away. The backwards compatible unit will work with any laptop the previous version worked with and is available now for €219. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.4/10 - Popularity: 35% | Activity: 19% | Freshness: 17% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Computers](https://www.trendhunter.com/computers) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Compact Liquid Cooling:** The compact design and lower speed operation of the XMG Oasis Mk2 present opportunities for disruptive innovation in laptop cooling systems. - **Enhanced Noise Reduction:** The newly engineered pump of the XMG Oasis Mk2 offers potential for disruptive innovation in noise reduction technologies for laptop cooling systems. - **Easy Water Refill:** The enlarged water inlet with a waterproof screw cap in the XMG Oasis Mk2 could inspire disruptive innovation in convenient water refill systems for laptop cooling. ### Who This Affects Most - **Gaming Laptop Manufacturing:** The XMG Oasis Mk2 presents an opportunity for disruptive innovation in cooling technology for gaming laptops. - **Technology Accessories Retail:** The XMG Oasis Mk2's attractive design and compatibility with various laptop models open avenues for disruptive innovation in laptop cooling accessory sales. - **Computer Hardware Engineering:** The advanced features of the XMG Oasis Mk2 create possibilities for disruptive innovation in the development of cutting-edge laptop cooling technologies. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Illuminated Liquid-Cooled Laptops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/liquid-cooled-gaming-laptop.md) - [Gaming Laptop Cooling Pads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/laptop-cooling-pad.md) - [Liquid-Cooled High-Performance Laptops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uhpilcl.md) - [Improved Airflow Laptops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/omen-16.md) - [Adjustable Temperature Laptop Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/thermaltake-massive-notebook-cooler.md) - [Gaming-Focused AIO Coolers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/levante-ii-360-aio.md) - [Advanced Computer Cooling Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/computer-cooling-systems.md) - [Dedicated Liquid Cooling Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/b-240-wcd-x.md) - [Compact High-Performance Workstations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cirrus-mk1.md)
