The xMEMS XMC-1200 cooling platform has been engineered by the brand with the requirements of the smart technology market in mind to work well within a variety of product categories. The micro fan measures in at 46mm² to accommodate placement in very tight parameters including in [smart glasses, augmented reality (AR) eyewear](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wearable-cooling) and more where [heat dissipation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/thermal-management-technology) is required but difficult to achieve. The micro fan draws 70mW of power and is rated to reduce temperatures by up to 10-degrees Celsius at a 1W thermal load, which would work particularly well in the face of advanced tech solutions, especially those with [artificial intelligence (AI) features](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scry-artic-ps5).

The xMEMS XMC-1200 cooling platform is projected to be production-ready by Q4 2027.
