[Xiaomi](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/13-ultra) has announced the launch of 12S Series smartphones, which consist of three modes that come equipped with a powerful built-in camera from Leica, a popular German camera brand known for its high-quality products.

Leading the trio is the new [12S Ultra](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xiaomi-2), which features a MIUI 13 based on Android 12, a [Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/honor-x50-pro) flagship processor, and an extra-large 1-inch, 50.3-megapixel Sony IMX989 main sensor. As a result, the 12S Ultra is able to deliver an impressive 1.6um pixel size, superior low light performance, and enhanced color boosting.

What's more, users can switch between two Leica filters: 'Leica Vibrant Look' and 'Leica Authentic Look.' The latter offers natural shots with a more intense three-dimensional depth, while the former boosts vibrancy.
