The "power of jade" is honored in real life and in the game as he taps into his familiarity with the gem to create the gadget. Chi explains the design concept in the promotional video, stating “When you press these directional buttons, we ensured the buttons do not come into contact with jade. But, instead, come into contact with plastic, so that it will not damage the jade during prolonged gameplay.” Image Credit: Xbox ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.7/10 - Popularity: 46% | Activity: 48% | Freshness: 16% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/games) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Jade-crafted Game Controllers:** Opportunity for incorporating unique materials into gaming accessories, creating a niche market for luxury gaming products. - **Cultural-inspired Gaming Accessories:** Trend of incorporating elements from historical eras or cultural symbols into gaming accessories, appealing to gamers interested in art and history. - **Collaborations with Artisans:** Increasing trend of collaborating with skilled craftsmen from various disciplines to create limited edition or exclusive gaming accessories, adding a sense of craftsmanship and exclusivity to the gaming industry. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Gaming Accessories:** Opportunity for gaming accessory manufacturers to explore unique and luxurious materials, expanding their product offerings to cater to a niche market segment of luxury gamers. - **Art and Gaming:** Intersection between the worlds of art and gaming, creating opportunities for artists to collaborate with gaming companies to create limited edition accessories that appeal to both art enthusiasts and gamers. - **Craftsmanship and Gaming:** Opportunity for gaming companies to partner with skilled artisans or craftsmen from different fields to create high-end gaming products that embody a sense of craftsmanship and exclusivity. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Gilded Gradient Gaming Controllers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xbox-wireless-controller-gold-shadow.md) - [Recycled Plastic Game Controllers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xbox-wireless-controller-remix-special-edition.md) - [Stylish Gaming Controllers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xbox-wireless-controller.md) - [Minimal Game Console Controllers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hyperkin.md) - [Floating Illusion Gaming Controllers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xbox-controller-2.md) - [Racing Wheel-Inspired Joysticks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/john-varvatos-joystick.md) - [Industrial Video Game Controllers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nothing-gamepad-1.md) - [Gaming Console Timepieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/microsoft-xbox-x-meister-watches.md) - [Industrial Gaming Controller Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dyson-gamepad.md)
