This is described as the "world's first floating Xbox controller" and although it does not actually float, it rests on a stand that is designed to replicate the visual. Creating a unique illusion, it aligns with the sci-fi aesthetic. This is part of a larger design project that is led by a custom-designed [Xbox Series S](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-mandalorian-game-consoles) and is inspired by the film's signature Ornithopter and the desert landscapes of Arrakis. The controller is made to replicate the Ornithoper's ability to float over the dunes and has the same rustic palette.
