As much as it's a personal change that members of society need to think about, it is always a good sign when a major contributor makes a statement. Since 2006, the [WWF](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/native-plant) (World Wildlife Fund) has been operating in the Netherlands out of their own personal statement. The WWF Netherlands Headquarters is a [carbon neutral office](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/office-for-roundtable). Designed by AUR Architects, the old headquarters were used as a starting point (instead of demolishing it) in order to create the [fully sustainable structure](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bochum-office). The tiles are made of clay and the interior ceiling is made of mud with capillary system of tubes that channel water to regulate heating and cooling. All materials used were gathered from eco-friendly or recycled materials.
