This allows nearly any surface to be transformed into a drawing board that is seamlessly tied into the decor of the space. Traditionally [writing boards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/creativit-12) are small, white and boxy in frames making the Think Board a modern day interpretation. The board is made from a transparent material that looks virtually invisible against the wall surface. The adhesive material functions like a conventional [dry erase board](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zenvias) allowing users to write on the surface with markers while simultaneously blending their work into the space. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.8/10 - Popularity: 51% | Activity: 55% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Transparent Writing Surfaces:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop eco-friendly and portable transparent writing surfaces that can be placed on any surface for seamless integration into any environment. - **Adhesive Decals:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create customizable and removable adhesive decals that can turn any surface into a writable and interactive space. - **Invisible Writing Boards:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Invent invisible writing boards that blend into the wall surface, providing a minimalist and aesthetically pleasing option for creative work. ### Where This Applies - **Office Supplies:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Disrupt the traditional office supplies market by creating innovative writing boards that offer larger sizes, clear surfaces, and versatile adhesives. - **Decor and Interior Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Collaborate with interior designers to develop writing boards with transparent and adhesive properties that seamlessly integrate into various decor styles and surfaces. - **Education and Learning Tools:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Revolutionize classroom learning by introducing transparent adhesive writing boards that can be applied to desks, walls, and other surfaces, encouraging interactive and visual learning experiences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Magnetic Whiteboard Notebooks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whiteboard-notebook.md) - [Hidden WFH Whiteboards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sable-flow-secret-whiteboard.md) - [Mind-Clearing Art Boards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mindclearing-art-board.md) - [Multifunctional One-Piece Stationary](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mover-erase-unisize.md) - [Whiteboard Workstation Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/deskboard-buddy.md) - [Interactive Task Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-freeboard-app.md) - [Interactive Idea Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/thinkpost.md) - [Angled Workstation Whiteboard Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fluidstance-slope.md) - [Reusable Magnetic Sticky Notes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/m-note.md)
