The Writer's Shed is the name given to a [compact structure in a private garden](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/love-shack-1) in Melbourne. The building's interior spans across 10 square meters, boasting a [homey wooden aesthetic](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/schtauss). It was designed by local architect Matt Gibson who worked in collaboration with landscape designer Ben Scott. The two set out to facilitate a memorable and cozy ambiance, with emphasis on integrating the Writer's Shed seamlessly into the aesthetic of the garden. To do so, the partners utilized Boston ivy which is fast-growing and non-obtrusive. They covered the exterior facade of the structure with it, assuring that the vegetation will also "passively cool [the abode's] interior on hot days."

The incredibly quaint Writer's Shed is, of course, meant to serve as a studio for the client who practices the literary arts.
