# Modernized Vinyl Cabinets The Wrensilva Standard One is a Technologically Update Record Console By Joey Haar | Published 2016-11-04 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wrensilva-standard-one References: [digitaltrends](http://www.digitaltrends.com/home-theater/wrensilva-standard-one-record-console/?utm_source=feedly&utm_medium=webfeeds) & [wrenhifi](http://www.wrenhifi.com/index.php?r=Work/view&id=4) The [Wrensilva](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/club-series) Standard One is a modern take on a furniture classic. With so much music stored in tiny digital packages today, it's easy to forget the physical space that a substantial record collection required in the past. Vinyl is making a resurgence, though, and the Wrensilva Standard One has rejuvenated the vinyl cabinet as a result. Though owning an entire piece of furniture specifically for music seems odd by today's standards, vinyl cabinets were once living room staples. The furnishings included space to hold records, a slot for the record player, and speakers. The Wrensilva Standard One includes all these features, and modernizes them by adding a [Bluetooth connection](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vs01-bluetooth-vertical-turntable) through aptX. This lets consumers add more speakers into the system remotely. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.8/10 - Popularity: 91% | Activity: 76% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Vinyl Resurgence:** As more people rediscover the appeal of vinyl, there is a growing demand for modernized turntables and cabinets that are designed for contemporary lifestyles. - **Furniture Technology:** With tech becoming more integrated into furniture, there are novel ways to add connectivity and new features to classic pieces, opening up new market opportunities. - **Bluetooth Integration:** Adding Bluetooth to vintage-style furniture pieces like record consoles can introduce new ways for consumers to interact with physical music collections and allows for integration with smart home systems. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Audio Equipment:** Manufacturers of audio equipment can take advantage of the resurgent interest in vinyl by developing products that cater to this user-base, such as Bluetooth-enabled turntables and cabinets. - **Furniture Design:** Modern furniture designers can explore how technology can be integrated into classic furniture pieces and innovate new products that leverage this. - **Smart Home:** Smart home companies can leverage the demand for HiFi listening experiences and retro aesthetics by offering voice-activated music systems that incorporate vintage-style speakers and furniture cabinets. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Live Music-Inspired Stereos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/club-series.md) - [Modernist Record Collection Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toneoptic-rpm.md) - [All-in-One Turntable Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/victrola-soundstage.md) - [Contemporary Stereo Cabinets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folded-record-bureau.md) - [Stylishly Textural Turntables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wrensilva-loft-tuxedo.md) - [Vinyl Record Credenzas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/geology-studio.md) - [Style-Conscious Record Players](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/upright-vinyl-record-player.md) - [Retro-Inspired Music Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/victrola-century-6in1-record-player.md) - [Ultra-Modern Record Players](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modern-record-players.md)
