It's not a challenge many have undertaken -- at least not when compared to more common competitions such as those involving food or sports. So it's a relatively easy one to break. Of course, this World's Largest Nerf Gun doesn't take the easy route. A four foot tall iteration of the Nerf N-Strike Maverick, it is capable of shooting huge darts (also known as toilet plunges) at an astounding 40 miles per hour. It was built by engineer/[YouTuber](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mrbeast-lab) Mark Rober along with some of his fellow YouTuber engineers. It comes complete with a 3,000 PSI air tank to fill an 80 PSI reserve cylinder. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.0/10 - Popularity: 47% | Activity: 35% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/toys) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Record-breaking Toys:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create new and exciting toys that break records in size, functionality, or performance. - **Bizarre Competitions:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop unique and unconventional challenges for competitions that capture people's attention and generate excitement. - **Engineer/youtuber Collaborations:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Foster collaborations between engineers and content creators to create innovative and viral projects. ### Who This Affects Most - **Toy Manufacturing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Introduce cutting-edge materials and technologies to enhance the design and functionality of toys. - **Event Planning:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Organize unconventional competitions and events that attract participants and spectators. - **Content Creation:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore new ways of creating and distributing content, collaborating with talented individuals from diverse fields. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Video Game-Inspired Foam Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nerf-x-destiny-gjallarhorn-blaster.md) - [Gel Pellet Toy Guns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hasbro-1.md) - [Gel-Equipped Toy Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pro-gelfire-mythic.md) - [Compact Gel Capsule Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nerf-pro-gelfire-legion-blaster.md) - [Sci-Fi Foam Dart Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ee3-blaster.md) - [Cutting-Edge Foam Dart Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/long-range-blasters.md) - [Adult-Targeted Foam Disc Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/disc-blaster.md) - [Prehistoric Foam Dart Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nerf-dinosquad-armorstrike-blaster.md) - [Optimized Accuracy Foam Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nerf-pro-stryfe-x.md)
