**Implications** - Though it is absolutely everywhere, technology still is and always will be an area of fascination for consumers. Thus, movies, [music and other releases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/anime-music-video) will continue to bear a machinist inspiration until [humanoid robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/great-robot-olympics) become a commonplace reality. The use of robot imagery feeds into an urge for nostalgia on a consumer's part, whose earliest memories of robots are probably rooted back to toys.
