Having raised over $1 million on their crowdfunding, the Mokacam team is pushing more innovation into the action camera category. Photographers and videographers looking for a more powerful, compact, and affordable go-to camera will want to take a closer look at Alpha. Controlling Alpha has never been easier with the world’s first dial wheel on an action camera. The experience is like the control wheel found on professional DSLR cameras. This unique dial allows instant micro adjustments to settings such as shutter speed without missing the shot. Designed to capture the best image quality, Alpha features the industry leading Ambrella processor. This is also the exact same processor powering the [GoPro](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hero-action-camera) cameras. Combined with a 1.55μm sensor from [Sony](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pro-camera-system), Alpha delivers a full 4K video experience. For all the action enthusiasts, Alpha has added HD ultra slow motion video capture up to 120 frames per second. The latest generation also adds many of the top requested features such as GPS for geo-tagging, a 6-axis gyroscope for image stabilization, and even a micro HDMI port for streaming images and videos directly to the big-screen. Alpha is the latest addition to the Mokacam family with standout features that broaden the capabilities of action cameras. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.0/10 - Popularity: 30% | Activity: 81% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/photography) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Powerful Action Cameras:** The rise of powerful, compact, and affordable action cameras like Alpha opens up opportunities for disruptive innovation in the action camera industry. - **Advanced Camera Controls:** The introduction of a world's first dial wheel on an action camera, like Alpha, creates opportunities for disruptive innovation in camera controls and user experience. - **Enhanced Image Quality:** The integration of industry-leading processors and sensors, as seen in Alpha, paves the way for disruptive innovation in image quality and video capabilities. ### Who This Affects Most - **Action Camera:** The action camera industry can capitalize on the trend of powerful cameras like Alpha by developing innovative features and functionalities. - **Photography and Videography:** The photography and videography industry can leverage the advancements in action camera technology, such as Alpha's advanced controls and image quality, to enhance their creative capabilities. - **Consumer Electronics:** The consumer electronics industry can explore disruptive innovation opportunities by integrating powerful micro cameras, like Alpha, into various devices and applications. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Accessible Vlogger Camera Models](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pro-camera-system.md) - [Tiny Cube Action Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/insta360-go-ultra.md) - [Advanced AI-Enabled Action Cams](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/insta360-ace-pro-2.md) - [High-End Imaging Action Cams](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/qoocam-3.md) - [Portable Stabilizing Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/djis-osmo-action-4.md) - [Compact Sports-Ready Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hero-action-camera.md) - [Improved Subject-Tracking Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/action-5-pro.md) - [AI-Powered Action Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/insta360-1.md) - [Durable Waterproof Action Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/akaso-brave-8-4k.md)
