A new workwear exhibition has opened at the Nieuwe Instituut in Rotterdam. The show is aptly named 'Workwear' and will be on view until September 9th, giving fashion enthusiasts and designers plenty of time to view it and bask in the history.

The Workwear exhibition was curated by Eldina Begic who sought to "celebrate the history and impact common fashion staples have had, both on the industry itself and the wider throes of culture." The showcase of workwear fashion is timely as many contemporary brands have experimented vigorously with durable fabrics, functional silhouettes, and workwear aesthetics. The show at the Nieuwe Instituut features many noteworthy designs like the M-65 and G-1 bomber jackets, Carhartt's field jacket, Yohji Yamamoto overalls, and more.
