London design studio dRMM completes the WorkStack, which is a layer of industrial units [stacked on top of one another](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/box-set) located in Greenwich. It is made from [cross-laminated timber](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/twofamily-house) and is made for the Greenwich Enterprise Board supported by the [Greater London Authority](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/greater-bay-area-sports-centre).

Co-founder of the studio Alex de Rijke explains that "The project was deliberately designed as a model to address the problem of makers being pushed out of urban centers because of residential development. It also gives a powerful message that light industrial can mean socially and environmentally inspirational." It has a stepped structure and references the stacks of cut timber with 14 units fitted on the location. It is top-heavy and great for a covered space for a central loading bay as well.
