The office's design encourages collaborative thinking among its team members and illustrates the importance of open and communal spaces. The tech brand's office is located in Redwood City and boasts a clean look that is accented with creativity-encouraging chalkboard walls. These walls give Evernote employees a touch of inspiration and feature motivational messages that are conceived by a chalk board artist. Adorned with the words "Remember Everything", these inspiring chalk boards are a reminder of Evernote's mantra. Measuring 80,000 square feet, this space was brought to life by design firm [Studio O+A](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/playful-contemporary-office) who married modern design details with budget- friendly materials. This minimalist office space rejects traditional workplace decor that is synonymous with cubicles and drab carpeting. Instead the office inspires its staff and encourages creativity. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.9/10 - Popularity: 92% | Activity: 77% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/architecture) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Collaborative Thinking:** Incorporate collaborative spaces and design elements into office environments to foster teamwork and creativity. - **Inspiring Workspace Decor:** Use unique and motivational design elements such as chalkboard walls to create an inspiring and creative atmosphere in the workplace. - **Minimalist Office Design:** Move away from traditional cubicles and drab carpeting towards a minimalist office design that promotes productivity and creativity. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can explore new ways to incorporate collaborative design elements and inspiring decor into office spaces. - **Tech:** Tech companies can adopt minimalist office designs and inspiring workspace decor to enhance employee creativity and productivity. - **Workplace Tools:** Providers of workplace tools and solutions can develop products that facilitate collaborative thinking and help create inspiring workspaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Welcoming Californian Workspaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/evite.md) - [Cohesive Modern Workspace Studios](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/unorthodox-designs.md) - [Minimalist Modular Creative Workstations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/note-desk.md) - [Colorful Creative Workspaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/podimo-office.md) - [Japanese-Inspired Simplistic Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lives-post-beam.md) - [Bright Creative Office Hubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sauvage-tv.md) - [Contemporary interactive workspaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/interactive-workspace.md) - [Playful Contemporary Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/playful-contemporary-office.md) - [Contemporary Dynamic Workspaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/officetopia.md)
