The new office space boasts an uplifting design that's full of color, plus fixtures that help to create breakaway spaces for smaller groups and even solo work. The [flexible workspace](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chameleon-workplace) created by Tina Bunyaprasit and Werner Aisslinger, of [Studio Aisslinger](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/work-capsules), was intentionally created to work like "living, breathing organisms" so that it can adapt as needed to accommodate new employees. For those who need to carry out focused solo work, there are [colorful, futuristic capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/max-zone) on-site that have domed windows that help to keep people connected to the happenings outside. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.1/10 - Popularity: 88% | Activity: 55% | Freshness: 9% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Flexible Workspace:** The workplace of the future is not only open plan but also flexible, dynamic and adaptable in order to accommodate new employees. - **Breakaway Spaces:** Creating breakaway spaces for smaller groups and solo work to boost productivity and employee well-being is the future for modern workplaces. - **Isolated Work Capsules:** Office designs that incorporate isolated work capsules will provide employees with the space and privacy that they need for concentrated and focused work. ### Where This Applies - **Interior Design:** Designers who specialize in office interiors can leverage modern designs, lighting, and fixtures to create flexible, breakout spaces and futuristic work capsules that cater to employee needs. - **Co-working Space Management:** Co-working spaces can offer dynamic, adaptable and flexible workspaces, incorporating isolated work capsules, and breakaway areas to attract freelancers, entrepreneurs and small business owners. - **Office Supply and Furniture:** There is an opportunity for office supply and furniture stores to provide modern and innovative workspaces including isolated work capsules, breakaway areas, and flexible workspace solutions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Quirky Solo Office Pods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/work-capsules.md) - [Colorful Creative Workspaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/podimo-office.md) - [Workplace Wellness Capsule Pods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iris-meditation-pod.md) - [Minimalist Private Office Pods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solarlux-soundproof-space.md) - [First-Class Working Pods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kabin-work-pod.md) - [Calming Workspace Productivity Pods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kabin-privacy-pod.md) - [Modular Work Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mespace-workstation.md) - [Calming Acoustic Privacy Pods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/actiu-qyos.md) - [Personal Cubicle Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ma-camilla-isabel-reyes.md)
