The table was created by [Etsy](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scrabble-coffee-table) merchant BohemianWorkbench and was handmade using maple, walnut and mahogany wood. The coffee table has a glass covering and measures 40" x 17.5" x 19". There have been many [video game controller coffee tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-coffee-tables) made before, but few crafters have chosen to work with wood. This gives the wooden Nintendo controller coffee table an added edge over the competition and justifies its $2,300 price tag. What's really awesome is that BohemianWorkbench will create a functional version of its table for an additional fee. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.1/10 - Popularity: 63% | Activity: 22% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/games) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Rustic Gaming Furniture:** Creating rustic video game furniture, like the wooden Nintendo controller coffee table, is a unique approach that can attract a market of gamers with refined taste. - **Handmade Gaming Furniture:** Handmade video game furniture, like the wooden Nintendo controller coffee table, gives an exclusive feel that can attract customers who prefer customized furniture. - **Artistic Video Game Furniture:** Designing artistic video game furniture, like the wooden Nintendo controller coffee table, can appeal to art-loving gamers who want to decorate their homes with unique and functional furniture. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Furniture manufacturers should consider creating customized and artistic pieces, like the wooden Nintendo controller coffee table, to appeal to niche markets of gamers and collectors. - **Gaming Accessories and Merchandise:** Gaming accessory and merchandise retailers could look into partnering with furniture makers to release unique pieces, like the wooden Nintendo controller coffee table, that will attract the attention of a market of gamers and collectors. - **Handicrafts and Home Decor:** Handicraft and home decor businesses can take inspiration from the wooden Nintendo controller coffee table and offer customized furniture to an exclusive market of art-loving gamers and collectors. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Board Game Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scrabble-coffee-table.md) - [Automatic Smart Coffee tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-coffee-table-black.md) - [Gaming Console Coffee Makers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nintendo-fp-coffee-machine.md) - [Retro-Style Game Controllers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nyxi.md) - [Video Game-Inspired Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pac-man-side-table.md) - [Winter-Ready Gaming Setups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kotatsu-futon-bhk2500kf.md) - [Cartoon Glove Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/voila-coffee-table.md) - [Opulent Timepiece Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/corum-golden-bridge-table.md) - [Aircraft Door Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-exit-door-table.md)
