Bojesen’s designs are a staple in many Scandiniavoan homes; these little wooden trinkets are handcrafted and have removable parts. The [lovebirds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zoologist-lovebird) come in a set of two made of smoked oak. Initially Bojesen created these as gifts for his friends, but their sheer simplicity has made it a popular choice in many homes. These birds can symbolize more than a simple gesture; hand one over to someone close to you and keep another for yourself to convey an everlasting love for each other. Or for a cute design, keep it in your home to remind you of the simplicity and gentleness of the avian culture. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.4/10 - Popularity: 32% | Activity: 3% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Handcrafted Wooden Decor:** Opportunity for artisans to create unique wooden decor pieces with removable parts. - **Symbolic Gifts:** Potential to create meaningful gifts that symbolize love and appreciation. - **Nature-inspired Home Decor:** Innovation in creating simple and thoughtful decor items inspired by nature. ### Who This Affects Most - **Artisan Crafts:** Artisans can explore the use of wood and removable parts to create unique decor pieces. - **Gift and Souvenir:** Gift and souvenir companies can offer symbolic and sentimental items that convey lasting love and appreciation. - **Home Decor:** Home decor industry can incorporate nature-inspired designs to create gentle and simplistic ambiance in homes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Interactive Observation Wooden Birdhouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/domik-ptashki.md) - [Bird-Inspired Speaker Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/birdinspired-speaker.md) - [Pride-Honoring Bird Figurines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pride-birds.md) - [Wooden Minimal Nesting Boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nesting-boxes.md) - [Modernism Birdhouse Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dwellings-project.md) - [Birdcage-Inspired Smart Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bird-intelligent-sound-box.md) - [Home Exterior Nesting Boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/numbird.md) - [Handmade Wooden Home Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/handmade-wooden-home-accessories.md) - [Educational Linoleum Birdhouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elvi-birdhouse.md)
