Think of it as a changing room within a tub surround. You can take a [calming soak](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/soaking-tub) while enjoying the [aroma of a Finnish sauna](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/logica-plus), then dry off and get dressed in the clothing you previously hung in the wardrobe. For the more self-conscious bathers, the dual doors can be shut closed during your dip and while you are changing. The Badkast, or bath cabinet, can be installed anywhere in or outside your home using a flexible hose system for water flow and drainage. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.1/10 - Popularity: 53% | Activity: 61% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Wooden Bathtub Cabinets:** There is an opportunity to innovate using sustainable materials and incorporate smart technology for an eco-friendly and convenient experience. - **Multi-functional Bathing Spaces:** Combining elements such as closet organization, ergonomic design, and aromatherapy can create a more immersive and relaxing experience. - **Flexible Hose Systems:** Exploring ways to optimize water flow and drainage systems for portable or outdoor bathing solutions could be a new area for innovation. ### Where This Applies - **Home Decor & Furniture:** Designers in this industry can create space-saving and multifunctional designs using durable and sustainable materials. - **Plumbing & Fixtures:** Companies can incorporate smart technology and flexible hose systems that can be easily installed in a variety of settings for customizable and efficient water flow. - **Spa & Wellness:** Integrating aromatherapy, lighting, and ergonomic design can enhance the bathing experience and create an immersive spa-like atmosphere. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Removable Bathtub Spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bathtrope.md) - [Hardwood Based Bathtubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beam-bathtub.md) - [Japanese Snack Box-Inspired Bathtubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bento-starck-box.md) - [Malleable Removable Bathtubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bathtope.md) - [Customizable Minimalist Bathtubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/acquabella-noon-slate.md) - [Rounded Hydromassage Tubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aretusa-tub-by-claudio-papa.md) - [Automated Relaxation Bathtubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-bathtub.md) - [Miniature Sanitized Cabinet Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yujin-lee.md) - [Luxe Translucent Bathtubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lusso-amore-freestanding-resin-bath.md)
