While there is a manmade quality about each piece, the name of the line itself suggests a deeper, more [mystical influence](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grun-collection) as well. According to the designers, the WOOD-OO collection was created "in collaboration with the forest spirits." The WOOD-OO collection was created by kdomazidlibydli, a design studio based in Prague, which was founded by industrial designers Jan Vacek and Martin Smid. Witty and playful, the furniture line is comprised of [tables, chairs, lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/join-collection), hooks and more. Although the material is raw and simple, each WOOD-OO piece is teeming with character. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.2/10 - Popularity: 84% | Activity: 63% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Raw Furniture Design:** Designing furniture that embraces raw and simple materials, giving pieces a haphazard or incomplete appearance. - **Playful Furniture Design:** Designing furniture that is witty and playful, using unique shapes and designs to add character. - **Mystical Design Influences:** Drawing design inspiration from mystical or spiritual influences for furniture and home decor pieces. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture Design:** Creating unique furniture pieces with raw materials and playful designs. - **Home Decor:** Introducing mystical or spiritual design influences into home decor items. - **Interior Design:** Incorporating raw, playful, and mystical design elements into interior design projects. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Nature-Inspired Artful Home Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ovo-and-dado.md) - [Simplistic Wooden Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-slab-collection.md) - [Organic Furniture Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roots-collection-1.md) - [Manipulated Wood Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/snickeriet.md) - [Playful Vibrant Creative Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/woo-furniture.md) - [Dynamic Timber Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/down-to-earth.md) - [Comprehensive Wooden Outdoor Lines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-outdoor-furniture1.md) - [Salvaged Timber Furniture Capsule](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/formwork-collection.md) - [Wooden Pendant Lamp Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wood-collection-1.md)
